Why “The First Penguin”?

“The First Penguin” describes the first penguin that courageously jumps in the ocean in search of food, despite the possibility of encountering dangerous predators.  The first penguin mindset is one of taking risks and embracing new challenges without fear of failure.

This metaphor resonates with career challenges such as:  advocating for a promotion, speaking up in a meeting, having a difficult conversation, overcoming imposter syndrome, or starting a new business.

Failure may be fatal for “The First Penguin”… It doesn’t have to be when navigating career and leadership challenges.

“In achieving your goals, you may run into roadblocks. Don’t let that stop you, go around, over, or under. If you are committed to your goal you will find a way.”        – Catherine Pulsifier
